Swansea Accommodation Services (SAS) is a campus based lettings agency. We help students find good, affordable accommodation and eliminate the some of the risks associated with renting a property privately as a student. We also provide the same service for professionals seeking to move/relocate to live and work in Swansea.

Our service is completely free for students. We charge no agency fees (most other agencies will charge you administration fees to use their service). We are part of the Student Union and aim to protect student’s interests and welfare.

House hunting
You must decide who you would like to live with. Be clear on how many people will live together. Most of the student houses available to rent have 4-5 bedrooms. Individuals can also rent a room in a shared house.

When to begin your search
We suggest you start looking for your property to rent from late winter/early spring. Do not be persuaded to sign up earlier as there is enough property to rent.

Where to look
First stop will be SAS, which can be found to the west side of Fulton and Union house, next to the Grove building. If you are still unable to find suitable accommodation, other places to find out what property is available include University Housing list, local newspapers and local estate/letting agents. Be careful; however, as some of the agents may try to charge you for going on their books and will certainly charge you subsequent administration costs when you have agreed to take up the tenancy.
